I am director of the women’s ministry at Central Church in Collierville, Tennessee, a suburb of Memphis. Our church’s heart has always been to promote God’s Word, His Spirit’s work, and biblical unity. For nearly a year, several women from the Memphis area have been holding nightly prayer calls, using a conference phone line to come together and ask the Lord for revival in our city. When I was contacted about holding a Fresh Grounded Faith event, I immediately sensed that this ministry was in line with our hearts and God’s heart. He used this conference in a mighty way to unite a diverse crowd of women. Many have expressed how much the Word of God spoke to them through the sessions, and how the love of Christ permeated the event. The promise of Jennifer Rothschild, Lysa TerKeurst, Karen Abercrombie and Michael O’Brien on stage attracted women of all ages and ethnicity. Afterward, we heard only positive feedback, with many in attendance thanking us for hosting the event that had fed their spirits. We also found the months leading up to conference to be unifying as sisters from dozens of area churches came alongside us, working for the common goal of reaching women for Christ. Although our church had hosted large conferences before, this FGF team and staff are incredible and they will be such a blessing to your community if you are led to host a conference. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to attend an FGF event or to host one.
Ellen Olford - Central Church, Collierville, TN
This ministry event was truly an answer to prayer. I had been praying, along with several other women on this team, that God would bring the Conference that He desired to us at Cottonwood Creek in Allen.
Our prayer was for an event that not only ministered to the women inside the walls of our church, but would also reach deep into the surrounding communities and cities to bring other women and their friends and family that may not have a relationship with Jesus.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff of Fresh Grounded Faith, the amazing staff and talent. We had Jennifer Rothschild, Karen Abercrombie, Michael O’Brien and Lysa TerKeurst. They were all truly inspiring, and so gracious and humble. The women that attended from many, many churches have overwhelmingly proclaimed how they loved, loved, loved this conference, and they can’t wait to experience it again. This is from women of all ages, races and denominations.

When Kathy Crispin asked about joining together to have Fresh Grounded Faith come to our area, I was a little hesitant. I’ll have to admit that when I first got the Master Tool Kit for FGF I was overwhelmed. I want to thank you for being so kind and patient in answering all questions and concerns. I remember your husband Jimmy even helped me setup the computer programs. In preparing months ahead for the event, there were a lot of volunteers and churches that came along side to help us out. Fresh Grounded Faith was amazing and exciting as 850 ladies of all ages, different denominations and communities came together. Jennifer Rothschild encouraged the ladies with the Word and her testimony; such a beautiful spirit. Liz Curtis Higgs made our hearts merry as it says in Proverbs 17:22 “A joyful heart is good medicine” and Michael O'Brien led us in an awesome time of worship. I thank God for the lives that were touched and encouraged; especially for those who decided to receive the forgiveness of Christ and asked Him into their hearts for the first time. There are many ladies that chose a fresh start by renewing their commitment to Christ. Thank you for coming to our area, it was great working with all of the Fresh Grounded Faith team; everyone was very gracious and easy to work with.

FGF Springfield, IL jump started a richer and better community of churches united as the BODY OF CHRIST when we invited over 10 Co-Host Churches to join us for an amazing weekend experience. FGF is well organized and supports the host church with an amazing FGF team! One highlight for us was gifting those from our local Mary Bryant Home for the Blind to come and participate. Additionally, there were several from our Jacksonville, IL community who were hearing impaired. Jennifer Rothschild made sure these precious women were given a seat of honor! The spirit and humility displayed on the stage all weekend warmed our hearts and spoke to our deepest needs. What a line-up Jennifer brought! I know many love the large convention-style gathering for women and I, too, enjoy that type of worship and energetic atmosphere; but, there’s something to be said for 1200+ women gathering in a smaller community and experiencing the LIGHT of Jesus and the POWER of His Word. FGF brought that to us and we are grateful and forever changed! THANK YOU, FGF, for blessing us in Springfield, IL and our several neighboring communities!

Have you ever heard that after a big conference or epic event you’ve anticipated for months that you will experience a letdown of sorts? I have heard that and even experienced it myself. Well, let me assure you that is NOT true after a Fresh Grounded Faith Conference! Since Saturday afternoon when the FGF team pulled away, and everything was “put back” for Sunday worship at Second Baptist, I’ve had calls, e-mails, texts, and face-to-face encounters about the amazing weekend we just experienced! One of the sweetest was from a mama who told me her grown daughter attended FGF and was so encouraged and renewed she was going back to her church the following day… for the first time in almost 2 years! She said her grand-kids were so happy! Another woman told me she had never in her life attended anything so amazing and she was revived and fired up. Another shared about a recent divorce and how God had tended to her heart. For many months, Second Baptist Church and 13 co-host churches prayed and anticipated bringing Jennifer Rothschild, Stormie Omartian, Karen Abercrombie and Meredith Andrews to our community. These ladies were a great team.
When sweet Jennifer got word Friday that her daddy was not well and she needed to go, we surrounded her with prayer and support and the Team rallied. Jennifer’s heart was so tender, yet she stayed Friday night and by God’s power she made it through. “Though she be small, yet she is strong!” Watching Dr. Phil take care of her is love in action. One of the greatest blessings was seeing my own Second Family come together and get the job done! I love them even more. We were blessed by working with other churches and being part of a true community event. The co-host program that FGF uses is super! If a strand of 3 cords is not easily broken, how about 14 cords? We accomplished together what could not have been done alone. Friendships were made that can be counted on for eternity. I mean, we’re going to spend eternity together, how about that? Terrie Bitter, the National Conference Director is on it! She will help, assist, guide and lead you through an event with grace. I can’t say enough about her amazing multi-tasking abilities. Thank you Jennifer Rothschild and FGF for the privilege to serve. I know Warner Robins was once your home as a little girl, and let me tell you, you’re always welcome here.
Jan Morton - Second Baptist Church, Warner Robins, GA
I could never have predicted the way that Fresh Grounded Faith would impact our faith community. The conference far exceeded any expectation that we had going in. It was well-organized from day 1 of the planning all the way to the weekend of the conference, and every single interaction with Terrie Bitter and the other FGF staff was filled with grace and love. They made our jobs simple and fun, and were always eager to answer questions or offer ideas and suggestions.
The co-host model for organizing the event team brought our sisters from other churches and denominations in the area together in a way I have never experienced in ministry. Relationships were strengthened as we linked arms for a Kingdom-minded event that reached far more women than any of us could have reached on our own. I know without a doubt that God blessed the unity of His daughters- it was evident throughout the whole process.
As our conference weekend came to a close, I felt I had made lasting friendships with so many wonderful people, and immediately began receiving emails from women saying it was the best women's event they had ever attended.
Dr. Phil and Jennifer are a delight to host, and we would be honored to have them back in the future.
Well done, FGF!
Kari Long - Willowbrook Baptist Church, Huntsville, AL
We were so blessed to have Fresh Grounded Faith in New Orleans, we are still hearing testimonies from women and men about how God has changed and transforming their lives (and their spouses), even our security guards loved it. Many have told us this event is one of the best they have ever been to, and some commented that the quality is just as good as Women of Faith, Beth Moore and other large events they have attended.
So Praise God! We give Him all the glory!! Thanks for listening to God and continue to do FGF events where lives are changed for God's glory. We are looking forward to having FGF back in New Orleans in the future.
Vicki Watson - Celebration Church, New Orleans, LA
OH. MY. GOODNESS. Fresh Grounded Faith was so much more than a conference. FGF was a gift to us and our local churches. From the moment Terrie and Jimmy Bitter arrived, ministry Began! They came to love and support, the preparation for the event was second to that. Terrie is truly an affirmer, her volunteer training spurred us on in our goal for a weekend of encouragement. Volunteer teams from so many different churches became friends and worked together with laughter and hugs and they just really meshed together in Jesus' name to prepare this place for God to move... and HE DID. I wish I could list every story, every little detail that fell into place at just the right time for so many of us. These precious stories are being shared through email and texts and we know that we will all continue to experience the ripple from this conference as we are celebrating with each other the works of our Father! Beautiful things unfolded and there are just no words to describe it. This weekend we came together as THE Church. Such a wonderful feeling!
Jennifer is so sweet and funny and she exudes God's love for His daughters. She meets us girls just where we are, and we can settle in and listen to her teaching because we feel her love for us! Dr. Phil was a pleasure, always with a smile on his face, eager to help keep things going smoothly. This is a team truly serving and honoring God.
Shannon Calhoun - The Church at Rock Creek, Little Rock, AR
I continue to be overwhelmed by God's goodness, His faithfulness, His provision, His protection and His covering over us, His presence, His leading and SO much more during our FGF days.
I have never encountered a better organized and prepared event...you are amazing. Each team lead and every person on our staff were very blessed to serve with FGF and you. Thank you for the hard work, your love and prayers that you poured into our event as you prepared and then journeyed to California.
Every woman I saw, in some way or another, conveyed that this was the very best women's event they have ever attended. They raved about Jennifer (everyone fell in love with her), Angela, Karen, Kirk & Chelsea. They were touched, challenged and transformed - not by just one person - but by all! I have never heard that, usually one will speak to some and not others. Michael was the talk of Yorba Linda - everyone loved his humble heart, fun spirit, his incredible voice, and worship songs that led us to the presence of our Lord!
Kay Gadd - Friends Church, Yorba Linda, CA
The Devoted Hearts women's conference is held annually in Rochester, MN. We are women from several area churches who are kingdom minded and have as our primary mission to bring the good news of Jesus to the women of our area. When we worked with Jennifer and her team, we found they held the same mission. Working with Theresa taught me many things related to hosting a conference. I have been able to apply these lessons to other conferences we have organized. Her organizational skills and attention to detail allowed the weekend to take place without the stress and anxiety that conference leaders sometimes experience.
I can't say enough about the conference itself! From beginning to end it is a class act. Once Theresa rolls into town the conference just rolls along and she makes sure all of the details fall into place. It is a beautiful expression of how the body of Christ should work- each person using their giftedness to pull off something together that they couldn't do alone. Theresa, Jennifer, and Phil are delightful to work with. Their hearts are huge for the lost and their graciousness to the volunteers and hosting church are a refreshing blessing. I feel empowered to do other kingdom work through the experience and knowledge gained while executing this conference.
Corri Brooks - Crossroads Christian Church, Newburgh, IN
After several years of hosting women's events within our church, we felt God leading us to reach out beyond our local community, but did not know where to begin. From the moment we learned about FGF, and spoke with Theresa, I knew they had the vision and experience to enable us to expand our ministry. One of the biggest blessings of our relationship with FGF was the ability to partner with other churches in our region, who shared the common bonds of loving God, studying His Word, and being inspired by the Spirit filled teaching of Jennifer Rothschild.
Judy Tripi - Anastasia Baptist Church, St. Augustine, FL
Bringing FGF to our region was one of the best kingdom focused events that our church had ever been a part of. Being able to work together with other churches was not only a great way to make new friends, but was a great reminder that our ministry should always be working together with other churches to build HIS Kingdom. The FGF Conference and the months planning up to it will be life changing and an experience you will never forget. I'm sure, like myself, you are considering this as an outreach in your area. Make no mistake, YOUR life will be challenged and changed in many ways....guaranteed!!!!
Dana Robb - McCarthy Baptist Church, St. Joseph, MO
What a wonderful weekend I had with all of the great women in this conference. This was my 1st conference I have attended by myself. I was blessed beyond measure. I teach a ladies bible class on Sunday mornings and they all agreed we have to go together next year. Our pastor opened up our church service last Sunday evening for testimonies and believe it or not I got up and talked about the conference and urged all women to get a sister if they didn't have one. I was walking in Wal-Mart and I heard a lady say Hi sister, that just gave me such great joy for her to address me that way. Keep on working for the Lord until He calls us home.
Thanks for being honest and bold for our Father.
Thanks, Jennifer, Stormie, and Michael for a weekend that inspired our church's women to examine how God wants us to minister to one another, our church family, and our community. Our first meeting was Monday night, and the Lord is already leading us in new directions!
We're PUMPED (and it's not just caffeine)
The conference was genuinely the best women's conference I have been to, and I have attended many through the years. Everything about it was great! The topics, the speakers, the music, and of particular importance the time frame. It was set up perfectly where we didn't get overly tired, but remained fresh and invigorated throughout. It is most wise to not have a Saturday afternoon session. I could go on and on about the Blessing it was to me. I will be recommending Jennifer's conferences to all women I know.
Thank you and God Bless you!
I felt rejuvenated and renewed. It made me to remember to remind myself daily that God is so much bigger and better than anything that gets in my way. Thank you all for the blessing I received and continue to receive through the books I got and am studying. May God continue to bless your works!
Rejuvenated and Renewed
Thank you so much for an amazing confrence! We were able to see God at work before we even arrived and He was sure present with us during the confrence as well. I'm thankful for the reminder that I CAN...I WILL...I AM!!!! I also really enjoyed the reminder that we must conquer our lions no matter how big or small but the only way I can do this is with and through the strength of Jesus Christ!!! Thank you again and my God continue to work in and through each and everyone of you wonderful ladies!!!!
With much love - A SOUL SISTER!!!
I attended the Fresh Grounded Faith at Coggin Avenue and left with a renewed love for my Lord. I've shared the Gutsy-Girl scriptures with 5 or 6 friends. Jennifer, God has truly gifted you with an amazing witness & power as you share your faith with so many. Thank you...and Michael & Stormie...for an inspirational and 'fun' day.
